Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
705 PM MDT Fri Sep 22 2017

...The Red Flag Warning for the southern I-25 corridor and
adjacent plains of Crowley and Otero county has expired at
7 PM MDT...

.Discussion...

Moisture will continue to increase across southern Colorado
which will put an end to critical fire weather conditions for
the remainder of this evening. It will remain windy overnight
across the mountains and far southeast plains due to an
approaching weather system.

Big changes will occur tomorrow. Wetting rains are likely across
the entire district, along with high elevation snows. The overall
best chance of precipitation will be across the continental
divide, and across the eastern plains along and east of the I-25
corridor.

The weather will remain cool into Sunday and early next week,
although the chance of precipitation will decrease most areas.

Smoke dispersion will generally be good or better across the
entire district both tomorrow afternoon and Sunday afternoon.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
