Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
504 PM MST Fri Nov 17 2017

.Discussion...

A strong storm system will move across the district tonight
bringing heavy snow to the mountains along the Continental
Divide and strong winds everywhere with winds shifting from the
north to northwest behind a strong cold front. Clear and cool
conditions will return for Saturday behind the system, with
temperatures remaining below normal.

Dry and warmer weather will return for most of next week with
another weak fast moving system bringing scattered snow showers
to the central mountains Monday night.

Lower afternoon smoke dispersions can be expected for Saturday
with most areas topping out in the fair to good category.
Slightly higher dispersions can be expected for Sunday over the
mountains, with lower dispersions across the plains.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
