Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
821 PM MDT Thu May 25 2017

.Discussion...

The weather pattern will become more active for a couple of days as
a disturbance moves across Colorado. Strong to severe thunderstorms
will be possible on Friday across the southeast plains...which will
transition to a better chance for showers and thunderstorms on Saturday
as the storm system moves across Colorado. Concerns will increase for
heavy rainfall on burn scars particularly on Saturday.

Although thunderstorm chances will decrease some on Sunday, there will
be daily chances across mainly the mountain areas through the middle
of next week.

Smoke ventilation rates will be very good to excellent across most
of the district by Friday afternoon. Lighter winds on Saturday will
lead to lower dispersions across the plains for Saturday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
