.Discussion...

Red flag conditions are expected the remainder of this afternoon
and tomorrow afternoon, mainly along the greater I-25 corridor.
These red flag conditions are being caused by gusty west to
southwest winds, low humidity values and continued drought
conditions.

Red flag conditions may occur on Thursday across most of the
plains, however there still remains quite a bit of uncertainty
on how low the humidity values will reach on this day. It should
be noted that we are highly confident that it will be very windy
on Thursday across the entire district.

By Friday and into the weekend, cooler air should move into the
region and winds should decrease.

Smoke dispersion will be good or better across the entire district
both Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
