CLOUDY SKIES GREETED THE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA REGION THIS MORNING. HOWEVER...SKIES SLOWLY BECAME PARTLY
SUNNY FROM WEST TO EAST DURING THE MORNING HOURS...WITH SKIES
REMAINING CLOUDY ACROSS EASTERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA AS
THE NOON HOUR APPROACHED. BY LATE MORNING...TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM
THE MID 30S TO NEAR 40 WITH GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS AT 10 TO 20 MPH.

AS WEAK HIGH PRESSURE MOVES EASTWARD...THE CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO
BREAK THIS AFTERNOON...GIVING THE ENTIRE NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA REGION PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES. AFTERNOON
HIGHS WILL BE ABOVE NORMAL AS THEY PEAK IN THE UPPER 30S TO LOWER
40S. THE QUIET CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY AFTERNOON WITH
TEMPERATURES WARMING INTO THE MID TO UPPER 40S. THEN ANOTHER SYSTEM
WILL BRING THE CHANCES OF RAIN AND SNOW INTO THE REGION FRIDAY NIGHT
AND CONTINUING INTO SATURDAY. THE ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL
CONTINUE INTO SATURDAY BUT A COLD FRONT PASSING THROUGH THE REGION
SATURDAY AFTERNOON WILL BRING BACK NORMAL TEMPERATURES FOR SUNDAY.
