Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Taunton MA
334 AM EDT Sat Aug 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will move across Southern New England today and
offshore tonight. A few leftover showers may be possible across
Eastern Massachusetts. Otherwise the day is expected to be dry
with skies becoming partly sunny. High pressure building over the
region will bring dry weather Sunday as well.

The minimum relative humidity will be 50 to 65 percent today and
40 to 55 percent on Sunday. Southwest winds may gust to 15 to 20
mph today along the Cape and Islands.

OUTLOOK...Sunday night through Friday...

High pressure brings dry weather through Tuesday. A cold front
will sweep across New England Wednesday bringing showers and
scattered thunderstorms. High pressure then brings drier and
cooler weather for Thursday and Friday.
