Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
339 AM MDT Mon May 20 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Today, low elevation rain, and some mountain rain/snow impacts our
region. Temperatures warm today and tomorrow, before cooling, mid-
week, while minimum relative humidity values remain above 30%.
Afternoon and evening thunderstorms develop and move across
portions of our fire weather zones for the next few days. The main
impact to fire weather, in association with the storms, is strong
and erratic gusty winds. An active weather pattern favors periods
of rain/snow, through the week.
