FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL/NORTHERN VERMONT AND
NORTHERN NEW YORK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BURLINGTON VT
332 AM EDT SUN APR 19 2015

...DRY TODAY...WET ALL NEXT WEEK...

.DISCUSSION...
HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO THE NORTH COUNTRY TODAY WILL PROVIDE
VERY DRY CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITIES
DROPPING TO AROUND 20 PERCENT. FORTUNATELY, WINDS WILL BE RATHER
LIGHT FROM THE NORTH-NORTHWEST AROUND 10 MPH, SO FIRE WEATHER
CONCERNS WILL BE LOWER THAN THE PREVIOUS FEW DAYS. A PROLONGED
PERIOD OF UNSETTLED WEATHER CONTINUES TO LOOK LIKELY FOR NEXT WEEK
WITH A WIDESPREAD RAIN EVENT EXPECTED MONDAY INTO TUESDAY,
FOLLOWED BY DAILY CHANCES FOR SHOWERS THROUGH NEXT WEEKEND.
