Surface high pressure will be nosing southward into the region today,
with drier and more stable conditions settling in. A much stronger
storm system will move into the region this weekend, with the brunt
of the storm possibly affecting the Northern Plains Sunday into
Monday, with heavy snow and strong winds. Temperatures look to stay
cold and below normal heading into next week.

Highs today will rise into the 20s and 30s. Lows tonight will range
from the single digits and teens north, to around 20 degrees further
south.
