Fire Weather Planning Forecast for northern Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Gaylord MI
321 PM EDT Mon Mar 25 2024

...Gusty winds and rain developing tonight into Tuesday...

.DISCUSSION...

Winds increase tonight, becoming windy into Tuesday. Values
expected to be within the 30 to 40 mph range. Rain chances develop
as well with widespread moderate rain tonight into early Tuesday.
The potential will exist for another round of showers with
embedded thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon. Precipitation will
diminish midweek with cooler temperatures and a few lake effect
snow showers in the UP. Poor ventilation through Tuesday due to
the low mixing heights and rain chances. Min humidity above 60
percent through Tuesday then decreasing into the 40s and 50s most
areas Wednesday and Thursday.
