...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN VAN BUREN...WESTERN LEE AND NORTH CENTRAL CLARK
COUNTIES...

At 920 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Indian Lake
Park, or 12 miles southeast of Keosauqua, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Madison, West Point, Donnellson, Bonaparte, Franklin, St. Paul,
New Boston, Pilot Grove, Croton, Farmington, Charleston, Mt Hamill,
Anson, Lee County Fairgrounds, Shimek State Forest, Battle of Athens
Campground, Summitville, Indian Lake Park, Vincennes, and Primrose.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.
