Fire Weather Planning Forecast For NE Kansas/NW Missouri
National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
135 PM CDT Wed Apr 10 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Area of low pressure over Louisiana is expected to move northeast
into the Tennessee River Valley tonight into Thursday. As this
system moves northeast, winds will increase out of the northwest.
Drier air from aloft will mix down to the surface on Thursday. The
drier air combined with gusty winds will create an elevated fire
danger across eastern Kansas into western Missouri.
