Showers and a few thunderstorms will continue across portions of the
area today as an upper level disturbance slides out of the
area...but activity will gradually diminish from west to east with
time. Expecting partly to mostly cloudy skies...with northerly winds
around 10 to 15 MPH...though gusts closer to 20 MPH will be possible
this afternoon. Highs are forecast to range from the upper 60s in
the southeast to mid 70s further northwest. The forecast remains dry
for the daytime hours on Tuesday...with more sun expected. Light and
variable winds to start the day turn more southeasterly with
time...with speeds around 10 to 15 MPH. Highs will be a touch
warmer...reaching the mid to upper 70s. Chances for showers and
storms return to the forecast starting Tuesday night...and continue
periodically through the end of the work week. Cloud cover increases
for mid to late week...with highs remaining in the 70s.
