Winds will pick up today ahead of a cold front passing through.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across much of
the area, including small hail and gusty outflow winds today.
Cooler and drier conditions follow the front on Thursday, with
afternoon winds picking up once again. Warm and dry conditions are
expected for the weekend, with increasing chances for critical
fire weather conditions developing ahead of the next storm system
early next week.
