.DISCUSSION...Ahead of a sharp cold front, mostly clear to partly
cloudy skies will prevail into early this afternoon, before
convective clouds start building. Chances for rain will likely
hold off until the 3 to 5 pm time frame, and most likely in the 4
to 5 pm time frame with arrival of the cold front.

Ahead of the front, temperatures will warm quickly which will lead
to high mixing heights this afternoon. The high mixing heights
will lead to gusty west winds from 20 to 25 mph developing by late
morning, or around the ignition time. These gusty winds will
persist into the afternoon. Winds will quickly shift to the north
around the 4-5 pm hour as the cold front passes.

There should be sufficient heating for temps to rise into the
middle or upper 60s prior to the cold front arriving. The good
mixing will support humidity levels falling into the lower 20s
this afternoon.
