River or stream flows are elevated. Little Sugar Creek is likely beginning to flood portions of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. Freedom Park walkways are beginning to flood as well as the East Boulevard Parking Lot. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 333 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain had caused rapid rises on Little Sugar Creek and McMullen Creek. Minor flooding is already occurring or may soon occur on these creeks, and in poorly drained urban areas in south and southeast of Uptown Charlotte. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen today. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
