WHARTON...AUSTIN...SOUTHEASTERN WASHINGTON...WESTERN FORT BEND...
SOUTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY...WALLER AND NORTHWESTERN HARRIS COUNTIES
THROUGH 600 AM CDT...

At 531 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hockley to 10 miles northwest of Pierce.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Rosenberg, Katy, Richmond, Tomball, Wharton, Jersey Village, Sealy,
Hempstead, Prairie View, Brookshire, Bellville, Eagle Lake, Mission
Bend, Pecan Grove, Eldridge / West Oaks, Addicks Park Ten, Spring
Branch West, Hockley, Needville, and Waller.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
