...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...

  Fall River at Fredonia affecting Wilson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don`t
drown.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON TO EARLY
WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Fall River at Fredonia.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flood waters backup into residential yards
  located 1 mile south of Fredonia near the gage site off of Highway
  96. Expect bank overflows on both banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 9.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.0
    feet early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
