...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT DARLINGTON AND CENTRAL MARLBORO
COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM EDT...

At 121 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles south of Cheraw State Park to Swift
Creek to near Cartersville. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bennettsville, Darlington, Lamar, Dovesville, Mechanicsville, Mont
Clare, Darlington Raceway, Auburn, Floyd, Swift Creek, Florence
Darlington Technical College Main Campus, and Society Hill.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 20 between mile markers 128 and 138.
 Interstate 95 in South Carolina mile marker 146 and near mile marker
167.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
