...FIRE DANGER STATEMENT IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH
TUESDAY EVENING...

In coordination with NC Forest Service, a Fire Danger Statement
has been issued Tuesday for portions of southeast North Carolina.
The combination of dry fuels, low relative humidity, and gusty
winds will lead to increased fire danger today. Relative humidity
values will drop to 20 to 30 percent, accompanied by southwest
winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn. If you do, you are advised to use extreme caution.
