Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the Southern Great Lakes
National Weather Service Northern Indiana
308 PM EDT Mon May 6 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday lean drier over the next couple of
days. Wind gusts do not reach 25 mph any of these time periods, but
afternoon gusts could reach 20 mph these days making gusts close to
threshold. Wednesday looks to be the warmest of these days with mid
70s to low 80s for highs. Fuel moisture has gotten drier over the
last couple of days, but it is still not dry enough to consider a
fire weather day.
