...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT NOON PDT TODAY ABOVE
6500 FEET...

Main band of snow associated with a progressive cold front has
exited the area to the east. Light snow showers will linger across
the area thru most of the afternoon but any additional valley
accumulations will be light and under an inch.

MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 12 inches.
  Higher snow amounts on ridgetops and peaks. Winds gusting as
  high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
  Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
  The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
  Strong winds could cause tree damage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

  of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. Gusty
  winds could bring down tree branches.
