For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.5 inch low north of the lake this morning will
cross into Quebec this afternoon. The low will weaken and push
east across Maine tonight...while a 30.2 inch high will approach
from the Upper Great Lakes. The high will cross the lake on Friday
then will exit across New England Friday night as a 29.3 inch low
will consolidate over the mid western states. The storm system
will strengthen to 28.9 inches on Saturday as it will pass to the
west of the lake. The storm will maintain its strength on Sunday
when it will move to central Quebec.

.TODAY...West winds to 30 knots becoming northwest. A chance of
showers from late morning on. Waves 5 to 9 feet. Waves
occasionally around 11 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 knots diminishing to 15 to
25 knots. Waves 5 to 8 feet subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. Waves
occasionally around 10 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 10 to
15 knots. Waves subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...South winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of rain
showers in the evening, then rain likely overnight. Waves 1 to
2 feet.
.SATURDAY...South winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west and
increasing to 40 knot gales. Rain during the day, then rain and
snow showers Saturday night. Waves building to 10 to 14 feet.
Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northwest gales to 40 knots. Lake effect rain and snow
showers during the day, then occasional lake effect snow Sunday
night. Waves 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Snow showers likely. Waves 3
to 5 feet.

diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Waves subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
