For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will cross the lake this evening. A 29.2
inch low will sit and spin over the Canadian Maritimes through
mid week. A 29.4 inch low will track southeast across the Great
Lakes Tuesday and Wednesday. A 30.5 inch surface high will then
expand across the Lake later Thursday and through Friday. A 30.12
inch northern stream wave will track across the Lake on Saturday
as a stronger sfc low tracks along the coast.

.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west. A chance
of snow showers early. A chance of snow showers late. Waves 3 to
6 feet building to 4 to 7 feet, then subsiding to 3 to 6 feet.
Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.TUESDAY...West winds 15 to 25 knots becoming southwest. A chance
of snow showers early, then lake effect snow showers likely from
late morning on. Waves 3 to 6 feet building to 4 to 7 feet. Waves
occasionally around 9 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west
15 to 20 knots. A chance of snow showers. Waves 4 to 7 feet
subsiding to 3 to 5 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds to 30 knots. A chance of snow showers.
Waves 5 to 8 feet building to 7 to 10 feet. Waves occasionally
around 13 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West gales to 35 knots becoming northwest and
diminishing to 30 knots overnight. A chance of snow showers.
Waves 8 to 12 feet subsiding to 7 to 10 feet. Waves occasionally
around 15 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming north and
diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. A chance of snow showers during
the day. Waves 6 to 9 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet. Waves
