For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 28.6 inch low over Central Ontario will meander its
way across James Bay and into western Quebec through Wednesday
while weakening to 29.1 inches, then will remain in place across
far northern Quebec through Thursday. A strong cold front trailing
this low will cross the lake through early this evening.

.THIS AFTERNOON...Southwest winds to 30 knots. A chance of showers
early. Waves 3 to 6 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southwest gales to 35 knots becoming west. Waves 6 to
9 feet building to 9 to 13 feet. Waves occasionally around
16 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...West gales to 35 knots. Waves 7 to 11 feet subsiding
to 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 14 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...West winds to 30 knots. Waves 5 to 8 feet.
Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 15 to 25 knots. Waves 4 to 7 feet
subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots diminishing to 10 to

6 to 9 feet subsiding to 3 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around
11 feet.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 knots becoming west and
increasing to 35 knot gales. Rain early, then a chance of rain
showers late in the evening. Waves 5 to 8 feet building to 10 to
14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest gales to 35 knots diminishing to 30 knots.
Scattered snow showers. Waves 8 to 12 feet subsiding to 6 to
10 feet. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 knots becoming west.
Snow showers likely. Waves 6 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around
11 feet.
