For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low over New England this evening will
lift to northern Maine by daybreak Wednesday. The low will deepen
to 28.9 inches during the day Wednesday...while it will continue
its northward track across the eastern portion of Quebec. A weak
29.6 inch ridge will cross the lake Late Wednesday and Wednesday
night. A 30.1 inch high over the Upper Mid West Thursday morning
will settle over the Upper Ohio Valley Thursday afternoon and
night. A 29,7 low over the Upper Great Lakes on Friday will cross
the lake Friday night.

lake effect snow this evening, then scattered snow showers after
midnight. Waves 5 to 9 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds to 30 knots. Waves 6 to 10 feet.
Waves occasionally around 13 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots. A chance of
snow showers. Waves 5 to 8 feet subsiding to 3 to 5 feet. Waves
occasionally around 10 feet.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west. A
chance of snow showers. Waves 3 to 6 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 25 knots. A chance of snow
showers. Waves 3 to 6 feet.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Snow showers likely.
