For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.5 inch low over Lake Huron will move to southern
Quebec late this afternoon while deepening to 29.3 inches. A
strong cold front trailing this low will cross the lake early this
evening. This low will then continue into the Canadian Maritimes
by Monday morning. A 30.4 inch high over the southern Plains
Monday will build into the Ohio Valley and Mid Atlantic Tuesday
and Wednesday.

...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM EDT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

.THIS AFTERNOON...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to
35 knot gales. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms late. Some
thunderstorms may produce gusty winds late. Waves 2 to 4 feet
building to 5 to 8 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.TONIGHT...West gales to 35 knots becoming northwest and
diminishing to 15 to 20 knots after midnight. Showers with a
chance of thunderstorms early. Scattered showers after midnight.
Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds early. Waves 9 to
12 feet subsiding to 5 to 8 feet. Waves occasionally around
15 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. A chance of showers in
the morning. Waves 3 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest
and diminishing to 5 to 10 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to
1 to 3 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west. Waves
2 to 4 feet building to 4 to 7 feet, then subsiding to 3 to
5 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.THURSDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west 10 to
15 knots. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 2 feet.

chance of thunderstorms early, then scattered showers from late
evening on. Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds early.
Waves 9 to 13 feet subsiding to 7 to 10 feet. Waves occasionally
around 16 feet.
