For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...An expansive 30.80 inch high centered over the Lower
Mississippi Valley will drift across the southeastern states
today, before settling off the southeast coast Saturday and Sunday.
At the same time, a 29.20 inch low will track from northern Ontario
to the Gulf of Saint Lawrence through Saturday night. A 29.5 inch
low over the central Plains states Sunday night will track to the
central Great Lakes by Tuesday morning.

.TONIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 knots increasing to 35 knot
gales. Waves 5 to 8 feet building to 9 to 12 feet. Waves
occasionally around 15 feet.
.SATURDAY...Southwest gales to 35 knots becoming west and
diminishing to 30 knots. Waves 8 to 12 feet subsiding to 5 to
9 feet. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. Waves 4 to 7 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet. Waves
