...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT...

For the following areas...

  Nearshore Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Calumet Harbor...
  Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid
Lake...

At 309 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Montrose Harbor to DuSable Harbor to 31st Street
Harbor, moving northeast at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots and large hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high
         winds and hail. Small craft could capsize in suddenly
         higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Harrison-Dever Crib, Calumet Harbor, 31st Street Harbor, Montrose
Harbor, Monroe Harbor, Belmont Harbor, Burnham Harbor, 59th Street
Marina, Jackson Park Harbor, Diversy Harbor, and DuSable Harbor.
