...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR NORTHERN CRAWFORD, SOUTHWESTERN FRANKLIN AND GASCONADE
COUNTIES...

At 141 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Union, Sullivan, St. Clair, Cuba, Owensville, Bourbon, Gerald,
  Bland, Parkway, Rosebud, Leasburg, Miramiguoa Park, Beaufort,
  Drake, Mount Sterling, Leslie, St. Cloud, Japan, Oak Hill and
  Noser Mill.

This includes the following State Parks...
Onondaga Cave State Park and Meramec State Park.

This includes Interstate 44 in Missouri between exits 203 and 240.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
