.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions will prevail tonight amidst gusty westerly winds
before rain and thunderstorm chances increase in accordance with a
lifting warm front. Ambient winds will remain stronger, but the
threat for damaging wind, tornadoes, and very large hail will
present itself over at least the southern half of the region
tomorrow. This is on top of locally-heavy rain and frequent
lightning.
This last gasp of severe weather will usher in a pattern change
that keeps us drier and more tranquil compared to the last few
days. Temperatures also drop back to near-normal, if not a hair
below-normal, this weekend.
