...GUSTY SHOWERS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CRAVEN...SOUTHEASTERN
BEAUFORT...CENTRAL PAMLICO AND CENTRAL CARTERET COUNTIES THROUGH 900
PM EDT...

At 836 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers near
Newport, moving northeast at 55 mph. At 828 PM EDT, a National
Weather Service employee reported wind gusts in excess of 50 mph
behind the shower activity.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Havelock, Morehead City, Newport, South River, Merrimon, Harlowe,
Florence, Janeiro, Wildwood, Whortonsville, Great Neck, Maribel, Nc
Pamlico, North Harlowe, Merritt, Cherry Branch Ferry Terminal,
Minnesott Beach Ferry, Bayboro, Arapahoe, and Minnesott Beach.
