.Discussion...
The east coast sea breeze will continue moving inland this
afternoon, with isolated to scattered showers and isolated storms
possible over the next several hours, especially across Osceola
and Okeechobee counties. Activity will diminish into the overnight
hours, with winds becoming light out of the southeast around 5
mph. Thursday, the east coast sea breeze is forecast to develop
and move inland again, causing winds to become easterly at 10 to
15 mph. Isolated to scattered shower development and isolated
storms will be possible once again in the afternoon, especially
across the interior following the sea breeze collision. Storms
may be capable of producing occasional lightning strikes, gusty
winds, and brief heavy downpours. Minimum RH values are forecast
to remain between 40 to 50 percent across the interior, with
areas along the coast in the 50 to 60 percent range. Afternoon
smoke dispersion will be generally good across east central
Florida.
Activity will diminish once again Thursday night after sunset,
with winds becoming light out of the east around 5 mph. Drier
conditions forecast for Friday, with PoPs remaining below 10
percent and minimum RH values in the 35 to 50 percent range across
the interior. East winds increasing between 10 to 15 mph as the
sea breeze moves inland. Afternoon smoke dispersion generally good
to very good on Friday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
