Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure, centered west of
the water, will strengthen tonight and build NE. The high
pressure center will remain to the W through Wed night, then NW
of the waters Thu and Thu night. A high pressure ridge will
persist to the W Fri and Fri night. A cold front will reach the
NW waters today, then push E across the northern California
waters and move inland tonight. A coastal trough will develop
along the southern California coast tonight, then extend north
Tue. The trough will strengthen Tue into Thu night along
California coast, then weaken Fri into Fri night. The weakened
high pressure will move S and become centered west of the waters
Sat. Please be advised that the USCG remote communications
facility at Cambria is experiencing technical difficulties.
