...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Missouri, including the following
  counties, Benton, Maries, Miller, Morgan and Pulaski.

* WHEN...Until 430 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1021 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Eldon, Osage Beach, Village of Four Seasons, Lake Ozark,
    Dixon, Belle, Laurie, Iberia, Vienna, St. Elizabeth,
    Tuscumbia, Gravois Mills, Olean, Bagnell, Brumley, Lakeside,
    Marys Home, Ulman, Brinktown, Etterville, Kaiser, Aurora
    Springs, Lakeview, Rocky Mount, Vichy, Lake of The Ozarks and
    Lake of The Ozarks State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
