This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited hail risk.
  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
Elevated to locally significant fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Occasional southwest gusts up to 25 to 30 mph will continue across
portions of central Missouri this morning with winds gradually
weakening this afternoon. An elevated fire danger will occur
across the area this afternoon, especially east of Highway 65 as
low humidity values occur.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible across southwestern
Kansas and the western Missouri Ozarks this evening and tonight.
A few of the strongest storms may be capable of producing hail up
to the size of quarters.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Additional thunderstorms are expected to occur across the area
during the morning into the early evening hours Thursday as a
cold front moves southeast through the region. The best coverage
in storms should generally be along and east of Highway 65 with
coverage more in question west of Highway 65. There is the
potential for a strong to severe thunderstorms with this activity
with damaging winds and large hail the main risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
