...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL UNION COUNTY...
NORTHWESTERN UNION AND NORTHEASTERN CLAIBORNE PARISHES THROUGH 845 PM
CDT...

At 811 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Bernice, or 10 miles south of Junction City, moving northeast at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Junction City, Bernice, Cooley, Spearsville, Lillie, Corney Lake,
Lockhart, Taylorville, Summerfield, and Catesville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
