The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Crockett County in west central Texas...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 659 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near The
  Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 290, or 17 miles northeast of
  Sheffield, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern Crockett County, including the following locations...
  The Intersection Of Us 190 And Highway 163, Ft Lancaster, The
  Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 405, The Intersection Of I-10 And
  Highway 290, and I-10 Near The Crockett-Pecos County Line.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 327 and 355.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning
is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in San Angelo.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
