.DISCUSSION...A cold front will remain stalled just north of the
area through much of the day today. As a result, winds are expected
to remain largely terrain driven through much of the day. Winds will
increase from the west after 1600 just ahead of this this front,
then switch to the northwest and become gusty by mid evening as the
front passes. Temperatures will trend slightly lower today, while
the airmass remains very dry, allowing relatively humidity to fall
below 20 percent early this afternoon. Overnight humidity recovery
will remain marginal tonight, and very low humidity is expected
once again Thursday.
