...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN FRANKLIN AND DOUGLAS
COUNTIES THROUGH 730 AM CDT...

At 652 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Lawrence to near Pomona. Movement was east at
45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down twigs or small limbs and blow
         around objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lawrence, Baldwin City, Eudora, Wellsville, Centropolis, Lone Star,
Pleasant Grove, Vinland, and Globe.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 192 and 198.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 201 and 205.
