...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM CDT
FOR EASTERN JEFFERSON AND NORTHEASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTIES...

At 302 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Easton to 6 miles south of McLouth to 4 miles
northeast of Lawrence, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Northeastern Lawrence, Oskaloosa, Eudora, McLouth, Winchester, and
Williamstown.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 202 and 205.

At 225 AM...Valley Falls Fire Department reported multiple trees
damaged and power lines down.

At 245 AM...Public reported quarter size hail 4 miles south-
southeast of OZawkie.

 PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
