At 328 AM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly in northwest
Arkansas. Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in
Crawford, Madison and Carroll counties in Arkansas. The
precipitation was in the Fort Smith area. Movement was to the east
at greater than 40 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour
was around one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of two to two
and a half inches. Intensity decreased during the last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for late tonight and into this morning, mostly
cloudy then becoming mostly sunny, a chance of showers and
thunderstorms with temperatures 62 to 66 degrees and southwest winds
5 to 10 mph.
