POSSIBLY LEADING TO SOME SPLASH-OVER AND MINOR BEACH EROSION...

.LONG PERIOD NEARSHORE WAVES 5-7 FEET WILL CONTINUE ALONG
SOUTHWEST COASTAL MAINE AND THE SEACOAST OF NEW HAMPSHIRE THROUGH
THE ASTRONOMICAL HIGH TIDE OF 11.7 FEET TO OCCUR SHORTLY AFTER
MIDNIGHT, 12:42 AM IN PORTLAND. THE COMBINATION OF THE WAVES AND
A STORM SURGE OF ABOUT A HALF A FOOT WILL BRING THE STORM TIDE TO
AROUND 12 FEET AND MAY LEAD TO SOME SPLASH-OVER OR BEACH EROSION

* LOCATION...THE NEW HAMPSHIRE SEACOAST AND THE BEACHES OF
  SOUTHWEST MAINE TO THE SOUTH OF PORTLAND.

* COASTAL FLOODING...THE COMBINATION OF HIGH ASTRONOMICAL TIDES
  AND A LIGHT ONSHORE WIND WILL CREATE A THREAT FOR SPLASH OVER
  AND BEACH EROSION NEAR THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE TONIGHT. SOME
  MINOR COASTAL FLOODING IS ALSO POSSIBLE.

* TIMING...NEAR THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE TONIGHT, 12:42 AM IN
  PORTLAND.

* IMPACTS...THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR SPLASH OVER AND MINOR BEACH
  EROSION.
