...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM PDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WAVES AND SURF...STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE BREAKING WAVES OF
  14 TO 18 FEET ON SOUTH FACING BEACHES.

* TIMING...WAVES HAVE PEAKED...AND WILL SLOWLY DIMINISH THROUGH
  THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* LOCATIONS...EXPOSED BEACHES NORTH OF HUMBUG MOUNTAIN.

* IMPACTS...HEAVY SURF WILL RESULT IN HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS ALONG
  AREA BEACHES...ESPECIALLY ALONG MORE SOUTHERLY ORIENTED
  COASTLINES. ALSO...DAMAGING WAVE ACTION IS POSSIBLE FOR LOW
  LYING AREAS AND EXPOSED INFRASTRUCTURE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT BEACHES IN
THE ADVISORY AREA...PRODUCING RIP CURRENTS AND LOCALIZED BEACH
EROSION.
