.SEPTEMBER 2017 WAS WARMER THAN NORMAL WITH BELOW NORMAL
PRECIPITATION AT DULUTH MN...

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR SEPTEMBER WAS 58.6 DEGREES WHICH WAS 3.0
DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 55.6 DEGREES. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE
FOR THE MONTH WAS 83 DEGREES ON THE 23RD. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE WAS
37 DEGREES ON THE 8TH. ONE DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORD WAS TIED FOR THE
MONTH. ON THE 23RD THE RECORD WARMEST LOW TEMPERATURE OF 64 DEGREES
TIED THE OLD RECORD SET IN 1958. TEN DAYS HAD AVERAGE TEMPERATURES
BELOW NORMAL.

SEPTEMBER 2017 WAS BELOW NORMAL FOR PRECIPITATION WITH A TOTAL OF

MONTH. NORMAL LOWS FOR THE MONTH BEGIN IN THE LOW 40S AND COOL TO
THE LOW 30S BY THE END OF THE MONTH. NORMAL PRECIPITATION FOR
OCTOBER IS 2.85 INCHES. NORMAL SNOWFALL FOR OCTOBER IS 2.3 INCHES.
THE LATEST CLIMATE PREDICTION CENTER OUTLOOK INDICATES THAT ODDS ARE
