THE AUTUMN OF 2015 WAS UNUSUALLY WARM WITH NEAR-NORMAL PRECIPITATION AT
LA CROSSE, WI.  MORE DETAILS CAN BE FOUND BELOW.

TEMPERATURES...

FROM SEPTEMBER 1 THROUGH NOVEMBER 30 2015...LA CROSSE REGIONAL
AIRPORT HAD AN AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 55.1 DEGREES.  THIS WAS 5.5
DEGREES WARMER THAN THE 1981-2010 NORMAL OF 49.6 DEGREES.  THIS
AUTUMN TIED 1963 FOR THE SECOND WARMEST AUTUMN EVER RECORDED. ONLY
1931 WAS WARMER WITH AN AVERAGE OF 55.6 DEGREES.  THE TABLE BELOW

WARMEST AVERAGE.  ONLY 1931 WAS WARMER WITH AN AVERAGE OF 65.0
DEGREES.

THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 45.5 DEGREES WHICH WAS 5.2 DEGREES
WARMER THAN 1981-2010 NORMAL OF 40.3 DEGREES.  THIS WAS THE THIRD
WARMEST AVERAGE.  ONLY 1931 /46.4 DEGREES/ AND 1963 /45.8 DEGREES/
WERE WARMER.

THE WARMEST HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 92 DEGREES ON SEPTEMBER 6TH.
THE COLDEST HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS 31 DEGREES ON NOVEMBER 21ST AND
22ND.

THE WARMEST LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 76 DEGREES ON SEPTEMBER 6TH.  THIS
TIED THE WARMEST LOW TEMPERATURE EVER RECORDED IN AN AUTUMN.  THE
ONLY OTHER TIME THAT THIS OCCURRED WAS BACK IN 1937 /SEPTEMBER 2ND/.
THE COLDEST LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 16 DEGREES ON NOVEMBER 28TH.

PRECIPITATION...

FROM SEPTEMBER 1 THROUGH NOVEMBER 30 2015...LA CROSSE REGIONAL
AIRPORT RECEIVED 6.84 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION.  THIS WAS 0.90 INCHES
DRIER THAN THE 1981-2010 NORMAL OF 7.74 INCHES.
