NAUTICAL MILES INCLUDING GALVESTON AND MATAGORDA BAYS
937 AM CDT WED MAY 4 2016

.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
HIGH PRESSURE WILL EXPAND INTO THE WESTERN GULF THIS AFTERNOON
PROVIDING A CONTINUED LIGHT OFFSHORE FLOW...A TOUCH WEAKER DURING
THE DAY AND SLIGHTLY STRONGER OVERNIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN
OVER THE REGION THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY BEFORE ADVANCING EAST. THIS
WILL ALLOW A SOUTHEASTERLY FETCH TO REDEVELOP. THESE ONSHORE WINDS
WILL STRENGTHEN OVER THE WEEKEND IN RESPONSE TO LOWERING WESTERN
PLAINS PRESSURES.
