THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL NEW HAMPSHIRE...
NORTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND SOUTHEASTERN NEW HAMPSHIRE HAS BEEN
CANCELLED. ALTHOUGH SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL HAS ENDED IN NEW
HAMPSHIRE... ANYWHERE FROM 1 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN FELL OVER MUCH OF
THE STATE... RESULTING IN RAPID RISES IN CREEKS AND STREAMS AND
URBAN FLOODING. RESIDUAL FLOODING FROM EARLIER RAINFALL MAY STILL
BE ONGOING.

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* A PORTION OF WESTERN MAINE...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...
  ANDROSCOGGIN...CENTRAL SOMERSET...COASTAL CUMBERLAND...COASTAL
  WALDO...COASTAL YORK...INTERIOR CUMBERLAND...INTERIOR WALDO...
  INTERIOR YORK...KENNEBEC...KNOX...LINCOLN...NORTHERN
  FRANKLIN...NORTHERN OXFORD...SAGADAHOC...SOUTHERN FRANKLIN...
  SOUTHERN OXFORD AND SOUTHERN SOMERSET.

* UNTIL 6 AM EDT FRIDAY

* RAIN WILL BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES LATE OVERNIGHT AND INTO THE
  EARLY MORNING HOURS. THE MAIN CONCERN IS FOR SOUTH THROUGH EAST
  FACING HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE WESTERN MAINE MOUNTAINS AND
  FOOTHILLS. STORM TOTAL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE
  POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS AND THIS MAY LEAD TO ISOLATED FLASH
  FLOODING. URBAN AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING IS LIKELY.

* THE RAIN WILL TAPER OFF AFTER MIDNIGHT ACROSS WESTERN MAINE
  AND TOWARDS DAWN IN CENTRAL MAINE.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
