...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM EDT FOR
EAST CENTRAL FRANKLIN COUNTY...

AT 155 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAINFALL HAD EXITED
THE WARNING AREA. RADAR ESTIMATED RAINFALL OF OVER 3 INCHES IN LESS
THAN 90 MINUTES WAS SEEN BETWEEN UPPER STRASBURG...ORRSTOWN AND
SHIPPENSBURG. WHILE THE RAIN HAS ENDED...EXCESSIVE RUNOFF AND
AREAS OF FLOODING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
CHAMBERSBURG...SHIPPENSBURG...SCOTLAND AND ORRSTOWN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.

TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
