...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 AM CDT/515 AM
EDT/ FOR SOUTHEASTERN GIBSON AND SOUTHEASTERN PIKE COUNTIES...

At 1244 AM CDT/144 AM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of
rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly. Reports of significant flooding have been received just
east of Pike county. The heaviest rain and most likely area of
flooding is across southern Pike county.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Oakland City, Lynnville, Winslow, Somerville, Spurgeon and Mackey.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
