THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WEST CENTRAL SOCORRO COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...

* UNTIL 315 PM MDT

* AT 116 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. UP TO TWO
  INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN. FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY.

* FLASH FLOODING WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF WEST CENTRAL
  SOCORRO COUNTY.

THIS WILL IMPACT THE NORTH WILDFIRE BURN SCAR INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO DRAINAGES AND ROADS
PARTICULARLY ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE WITHINGTON WILDERNESS AND SAN
MATEO MOUNTAINS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND NOW. ACT QUICKLY TO PROTECT YOUR LIFE.

RUNOFF FROM RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED WATER LEVELS WITHIN
VULNERABLE DRAINAGES IN AND DOWNSTREAM OF THE NORTH FIRE FIRE BURN
AREA.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT
LIFE AND PROPERTY.
